How are we using information provided by the media? And what are the main production trends in how media is produced and distributed? How will the shift toward digital subscriptions shape news offerings?
For several years now, the key answers to these questions are provided by the “Digital News Report”, published by the Reuters Institute. The collection of data and trends is vital to understand where we are heading, how the markets and the offerings are changing. The 2023 edition is based on 93,000 interviews of online news consumers in 46 markets, covering half of the world’s population. In this expert talk, Nic Newman will provide insights into key findings of this year’s report.
