What do you like about MediaVerse?

Nowadays, User-Generated Content is a great percentage of the media daily consumption.  The entertainment industries are in a great evolution moment, with fragmented audiences, technologies and of course content.

I would like to learn, how MediaVerse faces its goals and support by providing an external point of view, both from the technical and business perspective.

David started in consulting, working in the Miami office of Socimer International Corporation and later in Spain, in Grupo Gesor, a firm where he gained experience in the development of information systems of customized software solutions and exploitation of electronic commerce ventures. David led the proposal and the projects that form the core of the media Unit in Atos Research & Innovation such as LIVE, My eDirector 2012, JOI, SARACEN and Experimedia.  He has lead several EU research projects in the FP5, FP6 and FP7, including OLYMPIC, TELECARE, EC-Bridge, C-MONITOR, or pEHR. He has also led Spanish national R&D projects such as SAFE-OF and BUSCAMEDIA. 

From the beginning, this media activity has been linked to the Olympics. David’s project have contributed to making the Olympic Games and several Paralympic Events from 2004 until today.

Interests

I have dedicated many years in research and commercial projects related with the creation and distribution of audiovisual content.  I am always looking for innovative solutions that can provide us a competitive advantage to provide to our clients and to the final users.
